Failure to Attend Policy

At Heyday Medical, we deeply value the time our doctors dedicate to patient care. To ensure fair compensation for their time, we have a Failure to Attend (FTA) fee. If an appointment is missed without notice, concession patients will be charged $72, full-fee patients $80, and new patients $150.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may sometimes prevent attendance. In such cases, we kindly ask for immediate notification. If you reschedule with the same doctor at the time of notifying us, the FTA fee may be waived. Please note, the rescheduled appointment will need to be paid for in advance at the time of booking. If you choose to book with a different practitioner, the FTA fee will still apply.

To manage appointment slots effectively, we require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. The earlier you inform us, the better so we can accommodate others.

PATIENT REGISTRATION FORMS
For new patients, please return your registration form at least 48 hours beforeyour appointment. We'll send a reminder email/SMS 2 days prior to your appointment. If we don't receive it within 24 hours after the reminder and there's been no attempt from you to contact us, your appointment may be cancelled.

CARD DETAILS
Please ensure you have provided your card details via HotDoc at least 48 hours before yourappointment. We'll send a reminder email/SMS 2 days prior to your appointment. If you are unable to provide online, you can call to provide over the phone. If we don't receive the card details within 24 hours after the reminder andthere's been no attempt from you to contact us, your appointment may be cancelled.

Anyone with an outstanding failure to attend fee will not be offered any further appointments until the fee has been paid.

HOW TO AVOID RECEIVING A FAILURE TO ATTEND FEE
● Attend all scheduled appointments on time.
● Provide card details and forms as soon as possible, no later than 48 hours prior to your appointment.
● If you are unable to attend your appointment, provide 24 hours notice where possible and/or rebook with thesame doctor at the time of notifying us you are unable to attend your appointment.
