Just like a regular medical clinic, Heyday provides scripts for medicines but does not supply the medicines themselves - this is the job of the pharmacy. As such, the costs of your medicines may vary slightly depending on the prices set by your pharmacy of choice.

The answer to this question depends on a range of factors, most importantly a patient’s dosage size and frequency of administration. Generally, most patients will spend between $3 - $10 per day for their medicines.

If you see a Heyday doctor face-to-face, your gap payment will be the same as the advertised rates above. You will be invoiced a higher amount but you will receive a Medicare rebate for this service making out of pocket costs the same. If you have reached your safety net you may be entitled to greater rebates for these services which can lead to savings on out of pocket costs.
