Tell me more about Heyday

At Heyday, we’re inspired by the memory of Helen, the mother of our founders, Dr. Jim and Phoebe. After seeing firsthand how natural therapies improved her quality of life during her battle with cancer, Jim and Phoebe made it their mission to bring these treatments to more Australians. Our clinic focuses on personalised, holistic care and innovative, natural treatments - offering real solutions from real doctors. Whether it's managing symptoms or improving overall well-being, we’re here to help you get back to doing what you love, naturally.

Who is Heyday for?

If you're seeking a more personalised, holistic approach to your health, we're here for you. Heyday is for anyone who hasn't found relief from conventional or frontline treatments. Whether you're dealing with chronic conditions, stress, or simply want to enhance your overall well-being, Heyday is committed to supporting your journey to better health - the natural way!

What is holistic healthcare?

Holistic healthcare is all about treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. At Heyday, this means considering your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We focus on natural therapies and personalised treatment plans that address the root causes of health issues, helping you achieve balance and overall wellness.

Is Heyday Clinic legal?

Yes! Heyday Clinic operates within the strict guidelines of Australian healthcare regulations. Our expert doctors are fully licensed, and all treatments are compliant with federal and state laws. If you’re curious about your options, book a free consultation with one of our nurses to find out more.

Why choose Heyday?

At Heyday, our expert clinical team and award winning patient support set us apart. We go above and beyond to put you at the centre of your treatment journey with doctors who genuinely listen and want to understand your unique health story. You'll benefit from generous consultation times, ongoing education, and access to nurse support throughout your entire treatment journey.

At Heyday, we don’t believe in lock-in contracts or subscription-based healthcare. Our service is designed with your flexibility in mind. You have the freedom to fill your prescriptions at any pharmacy and the chance to build a long-term relationship with the same doctor, tailoring care to your unique needs.

How much does it cost?

At Heyday, we believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to quality care. We offer discounted consultations for concession card holders, including Healthcare, DVA, and pensioner card holders. Our pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees or lock-in contracts.

For a clear breakdown of our service costs, head to our pricing page.

The cost of prescription medications will vary depending on your treatment plan. Our doctors follow the Heyday Clinic Code of Conduct, ensuring personalised care that fits your needs, goals, and budget. We’ll also provide you with the tools and skills to get the most out of your treatment.

Do you see patients in-person?

Yes, we offer in-person consults! Currently, you can see a Heyday doctor in person on the Sunshine Coast or in Cairns, Queensland. We're also expanding our in-person offerings to new locations in 2025—stay tuned!

For patients in these areas, we recommend starting your Heyday journey with an in-person consult for a more personalised experience. You will also receive a discount on the consult fee when you choose to see a doctor face-to-face.

What do I need to get started?

Getting started with Heyday is easy! Here’s a few key things to consider before your first appointment:

Health Summary

Your Heyday doctor will need a copy of your health summary from your regular GP. If you don’t have one ready, you can easily request it via our form here: Request Health Summary. We recommend getting this organised as soon as possible to avoid delays in your care.

Referral for Under 18s
If you’re booking an appointment for a patient under 18, please ensure you have a referral from their paediatrician.

New Patient Registration Form
After booking your appointment, we’ll send you a link to complete your New Patient Registration Form. You’ll need your Medicare details, and if applicable, your DVA or healthcare card. Please ensure this form is submitted at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. New Patient Registration Form

Pre-Payment
We require pre-payment for all appointments, which will be securely stored by HotDoc. Don’t worry—HotDoc uses advanced encryption to protect your payment details. If you need to cancel your appointment more than 48 hours in advance, your payment will be fully refunded.

IHI Number (Individual Healthcare Identifier)
If you don’t have Medicare, you can still access e-scripts with an IHI number. You can get one here: Get IHI Number

Failure to Attend
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes prevent you from attending a scheduled appointment. If this happens, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Please be aware that missed appointments without prior notification may incur a  Failure to Attend (FTA) fee.
