Sam leads brand strategy at Heyday and has a successful track record as an entrepreneur in the digital health space. Sam pioneered several of the first telehealth ventures in Australia including Skin Patrol, Anywhere Healthcare and GP2U. Sam also assisted in the formation of Australia’s national digital health initiative, ANDHealth. Sam provides early stage venture consulting to a variety of start-ups and medical research institutions.
His interest in plant medicine stems from many years travelling to the US with his American wife Chelsea. Watching the US cannabis industry mature over the last decade and founding a small grow facility on the East Coast has helped him form a vision for the Australian market, a vision he passionately shares with his Heyday co-founders.
